Samantha Bayliss

Samantha Bayliss, SHRM-SCP, has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Currently, they are the Vice President of Human Resources at Select Event Group. Samantha previously held the same position at Homespire Mortgage, where they led efforts to modernize and scale up the HR operation to serve a large, remote, and geographically dispersed workforce. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources and SAFE Act Officer at the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, where they provided strategic HR guidance to the executive team and oversaw HR operations for two nonprofit divisions. Samantha also worked as the Director of Human Resources at the Audubon Society of New Hampshire, where they guided the organization's recovery from economic recession. Additionally, they have experience as a Human Resources Generalist at Prologue, Inc, an Employment Coordinator at the County of Chester, and a Human Resources Professional at Comcast Cable. Throughout their career, Samantha has demonstrated expertise in HR policies, procedures, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.

Samantha Bayliss, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse education history. In 2015, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Strategic HR Management from Cornell University. Following this, Samantha participated in the New Hampshire Equity Leadership Program as part of Graduate Cohort 8 at the University of New Hampshire. Samantha also completed the Leadership Greater Concord program at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce.

In terms of higher education, Samantha pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Writing and Literature from Rivier University. Samantha also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Humanities from the University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Humanities from Chesapeake College.

In addition to their academic achievements, Samantha Bayliss obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resources Management in February 2019.
