Colin M Beal

Colin M Beal has an extensive work experience in various fields. Colin M currently holds the position of Chief Sustainability Officer at Select Sires Inc. since January 2023. In the same year, they also serve as the Lead Scientist at Low Carbon Technologies, LLC.

Prior to their current roles, Beal worked as an Affiliate Faculty Member at the University of Hawaii at Hilo starting in July 2020. Colin M also has experience as a Researcher at B&D Engineering and Consulting since June 2014.

In addition, Beal is the owner of Beal Cattle Co. since September 2015 and the Founder and CEO of Low Carbon Beef LLC from January 2018 to January 2023.

Earlier in their career, Beal held research positions at Cornell University, The University of Texas at Austin, and NASA. Colin M worked as a Researcher at Cornell University from September 2013 to June 2014 and as a Researcher and Post-doc at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2007 to August 2011. Beal also worked as an Engineering Consultant at NASA from March 2012 to November 2012.

Colin M Beal completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in the years 2003 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued further education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained both their Master of Science and Doctorate degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Colin M studied at this institution from 2007 to 2011.
