Lara Sidhu

Lara Sidhu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the hospitality industry. Lara is currently working as the Commercial Director APAC at Selina since November 2022. Prior to that, Lara founded Hotelevating in 2020, offering comprehensive courses and mentorship for hospitality sales associates. Lara also held roles at Hotel Employee Rate as the Vice President of Business Development APAC and the Director of Business Development APAC. Lara's experience also includes working at Marriott International as the Regional Director of Sales & Reservations UK, Central & South EU and at Holland2Stay as the National Sales & Marketing Manager. Lara also has experience as the founder of Saby's Cafe and as a Business Development Consultant at Seaventures Dive Rig. Lara started their career as a Trainee Project Manager at Gemeente Almere and gained managerial experience at Cafe Slijterij de Hoop and as a Trainee at Radisson Blu Palace Hotel Spa.

Lara Sidhu holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from University Windesheim Flevoland, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. In 2005, they received a Diploma in Hospitality Management from Zoomvliet College. Lara also has additional certifications in Social Hygiene (HACCP) from Secondary Hospitality School Zoomvliet College and a Manual Driving License. In 2012, they pursued a short term course on Green Entrepreneurship at University Dhyana Pura. In 2016, they took an online course on Marketing strategies from B-school by Marie Forleo.
