Tim Brosnihan

Tim Brosnihan has extensive work experience in the technology industry, specifically in the field of MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems). Tim is currently serving as the Executive Director for the MEMS & Sensors Industry Group and Fab Owners Alliance at SEMI since February 2020. Prior to that, Tim worked at Cirrus Logic as the Director of MEMS Technology from December 2015 to February 2020. Tim also held the position of Sr. Director of MEMS Technology at Pixtronix, Inc. - A Qualcomm Company, from September 2005 to November 2015. Tim's career in the industry began at Analog Devices, where they worked as a Development Engineer from 1998 to 2005.

Tim Brosnihan has a strong educational background in mechanical engineering. Tim earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, attending from 1989 to 1993. Tim then pursued advanced studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained both their Master of Science and PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems). Tim's academic journey spanned from 1993 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Tim has sought additional certifications to enhance their professional development. In 2022, they obtained certifications in Leadership Foundations, Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences, and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, all from LinkedIn.
