Fredrik Engen

Fredrik Engen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Fredrik is currently working as a Product Manager / Customer Success Manager at SEMINE - The AI Accounting Platform, where they are responsible for implementing SEMINE on customers' ERP systems and ensuring their satisfaction with the automation platform. Fredrik also serves as the product owner for two API integrations.

Prior to this, Fredrik worked at Azets as a Service Delivery Manager / Senior Advisor, where they provided overall responsibility for a department's deliveries and supported department and team leaders with technical tasks. Fredrik also held the role of Team Leader, overseeing a team of 10 accountants delivering financial services to over 100 retail companies and handling reporting for a major Norwegian petrol station chain. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at Azets, where they were responsible for accounting and finance for their own client portfolio, with a focus on efficiency and outsourcing tasks to Romania.

Fredrik's earlier experience includes working as a Product Management Intern at Bento for Business, supporting a Product Manager with various tasks such as cost-benefit analyses and UX design. Fredrik also developed and implemented a new feature in Bento's mobile app. Fredrik worked as an Accounting Assistant at Hjelle Regnskap og Økonomi AS, where they performed accounting work and assisted with tasks related to hiring, training, and onboarding of clients. Additionally, they worked as a Salesman at Hi-Fi Klubben A/S.

Fredrik has also gained experience in the field of IT. Fredrik served as an IT Manager at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and later took on the role of IT Support. Fredrik also served as the Chairman of the Econa NMBU Student group at Econa.

Earlier in their career, Fredrik worked as a Press and Information Assistant in the Royal Norwegian Air Force.

Fredrik Engen completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) from 2011 to 2014. Fredrik then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business and Administration, majoring in Finance from Oslo and Akershus University College from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they attended two short-term programs, one at the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, and another at the University of Oslo (UiO) for Gründerskolen (Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship) in the same field of study.
