Ariel Skye (Jasmine) Liu has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2018, Ariel worked as a Product Designer at Semios, where they collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience and engagement for farming property managers. Ariel Skye (Jasmine) also contributed to evolving the Semios design language and built a design system style guide and component library.

In 2022, Ariel joined Designlab as a Product Design Mentor, where they guided emerging designers in acquiring fundamental design skills and transitioning to a new career. Ariel Skye (Jasmine) also coached experienced designers in refining their skill sets based on their career goals. Additionally, Ariel served as a Design Mentor at adplist.org, starting in October 2022.

Ariel's experience also includes working as a Product Designer (contract) at Casetext in 2017, where they optimized the document review process for lawyers by implementing a search feature and developed a comprehensive style guide for improved consistency and user experience. Prior to that, they were Co-Founder & Designer at LAVEDA, where they orchestrated e-commerce website design and development, conducted market research and user feedback sessions, and crafted compelling branding.

Earlier in their career, Ariel worked at Angel Hands Integrative as a User Experience Designer and Marketing Coordinator, where they redesigned the homepage UI to improve the booking system's user experience and utilized customer feedback to enhance overall user experience. Ariel Skye (Jasmine) also worked at Saint Elizabeth Health Care as a Service Coordinator and Supervisor, where they streamlined patient information management, developed personalized home care programs, and monitored patient progress.

Ariel's work experience also includes an internship as a Finance Accounting Intern at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, where they simplified and optimized the recording system, created Excel macros to increase productivity, and developed a guidebook for training incoming interns.

Throughout their various roles, Ariel has demonstrated strong problem-solving and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for design and user experience.

Ariel Skye (Jasmine) Liu has a diverse education history. In 2016 to 2017, they attended Designlab, where they pursued a degree in User Experience Design. Before that, from 2014 to 2015, Ariel attended the Institute of Holistic Nutrition Vancouver and obtained a certification in Certified Clinical Nutrition. In 2010 to 2011, Ariel attended the Imperial Hotel Management College and obtained an Executive Hotel Management Diploma. Additionally, Ariel studied Music Performance at the University of Victoria, although the specific years of enrollment are unknown.

Ariel has also obtained several certifications, including a Circuit Stream Certified XR Designer certification from the University of British Columbia Extended Learning in February 2023. In September 2020, they attained a 200-Hours Registered Yoga Teacher certification from Yoga Alliance. Additionally, Ariel obtained a Design for Business Impact certification from Designer Fund in 2020. Finally, in January 2018, they received a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation.
