Enrique Buccino

Enrique Buccino has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Enrique started their career as a Médico Toxicologo at CIAT Hospital Universitario Quintela in 1994. Enrique later worked as a Médico at ASSE from 2001 to 2004. In 2003, they became the Coordinador Hospitalario de Trasplante INDT at Administracion de Servicios de salud del Estado, where they worked until 2006. From 2006 to 2013, they held various positions at ASSE, including Adjunto Gerencia Administrativa, Adjunto a Gerencia Tecnico-asistencial, Coordinador Nacional de CTI Publicos, Gerente tecnico-asistencial, Gerente General, Director de proyecto CHL, and Subdirector Médico de Auditoría Interna. In 2013, they also worked as a Docente at Claeh. From 2013 to 2017, they served as an Asesor Ministro Salud Pública at the Ministry of Public Health. Enrique then worked as the Director en Gestión del Riesgo y Calidad at ASSE from 2015 to 2017. Enrique joined Casmu Oficial in 2018 as the Coordinador Cuidados Intensivos, a role they held until 2023. Currently, they work at SEMM - Sistema de Emergencia Médico Móvil as the Director técnico and also serves as a Medico Intensivista.

Enrique Buccino has a diverse education history. Enrique obtained their Doctor en Medicina degree in Medicina Intensiva from the Universidad de la Republica from 1985 to 2010. In 2016, they pursued a short-term certification as Gerente en Gestion del Riesgo ISO 31000 from Latu-Lsqa, focusing on the Norma ISO 31000. In 2004 to 2008, they completed a Posgrado en Gestion de Servicios de Salud, specializing in Gestion y Política Sanitaria, at the Centro Latinoamericano de Economía Humana CLAEH.

Enrique has also obtained additional certifications in Dirección de Proyectos Complejos from the United Latino Students Association in June 2023. Furthermore, they plan on enrolling in the University of Cambridge in 2023 for a program focusing on Administración/Gestión de servicios sanitarios, although the degree name is not specified.
