Catalina Salazar

Catalina Salazar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Catalina has held various roles in different companies. Catalina'smost recent position was as the Chief Financial Officer at Sempli since November 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Sempli from September 2018 to November 2019. Before joining Sempli, they worked at Grupo Orbis, where they were the Corporate Treasury Manager from January 2018 to September 2018 and worked in Banca de Inversión from April 2014 to January 2018. Catalina also gained experience as the Gerente de Proyectos at Promotora de Proyectos S.A. from January 2012 to April 2014 and as the Gerente de Planeacion Financiera at Stendhal from May 2010 to November 2011.

In their earlier career, Catalina Salazar worked at Grupo Orbis as the Coordinadora de Planeacion Financiera from May 2008 to March 2010. Catalina provided financial analysis and support to all businesses within the Grupo Mundial, as well as structuring valuations for M&A projects. Starting their journey in higher education, Catalina earned their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration also from Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Throughout their academic journey, Catalina focused on finance and corporate finance, showing a strong dedication to expanding their knowledge in these fields.
