Katy started their career in 2003 as a Litigation Paralegal at Daley & Heft LLP, where they managed cases and prepared for trials in various areas of law.

In 2006, Katy joined Sempra Energy as a Regulatory and Compliance Coordinator, tracking regulatory developments and assisting with compliance training. Katy later became a Regulatory and Compliance Specialist, providing regulatory support for compliance with reliability standards.
