Joel Bonilla-Blondet currently serves as a Legal Advisor for the Senate of Puerto Rico since January 2021 and holds multiple roles at the Center for Constitutional Democracy, including PhD Fellow and JD Fellow, since 2015. Previously, Joel was the Director of Operations & Finance at the AMICUS Institute for Governance until April 2022 and has worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Joel's expertise includes international legal consulting and visiting scholar positions at Demarest Advogados and Votorantim Cimentos in 2014. Academically, Joel possesses robust qualifications, including a PhD in Law and Democracy, a JD, an MBA from SKK GSB Sungkyunkwan University, and a recent professional certification in Data Science & Machine Learning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
