Marc Fernandez

Marc Fernandez has a diverse work experience in software engineering and management roles. Marc is currently working at Sendoso as an Engineering Manager since March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Staff Software Engineer at Sendoso from May 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Sendoso, Marc worked at Thanx as an Engineering Manager from April 2020 to May 2021. Marc also served as a Lead Software Engineer at Thanx from January 2017 to April 2020 and as a Software Engineer from November 2012 to January 2017. At Thanx, they played a key role in building and maintaining their platform, leading mobile development, and contributing to other parts of the system.

Marc's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Market Motive from September 2011 to November 2012, where they developed new features and reporting tools. Marc also worked as a Software Quality Engineer Intern at HP from October 2010 to September 2011, where they developed web applications and implemented test cases and automation tools.

In addition, Marc has interned at Apple Inc. as an Automation/Test Engineer, where they built an application to improve reporting and developed new reports and data visualizations. Marc has also interned at Scratchspace Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they designed and created a web MVC application.

Marc started their career as a Freelance Web Developer from 2006 to 2010, and prior to that, they interned as an IT Intern at YAMAHA MOTOR ESPAÑA S.A. and as a Software Engineer at Atmira Espacio de Consultoria.

Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated skills in software engineering, leadership, and project management.

Marc Fernandez earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2010. Prior to that, they pursued their education at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they completed both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Master's (M.S.) degree in Computer Science, studying from 2004 to 2011.
