Steve Laport

Steve Laport has extensive experience in maintenance and equipment operations across various industries. Since February 2020, Laport has worked as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at Seneca Foods Corporation, focusing on maintenance in the food processing sector. Prior to this role, Laport served as a Carman-Mechanic at CN from August 2014 to January 2020, where responsibilities included brake testing, welding, and freight car repair. Earlier experience includes positions as an Equipment Operator at Minnesota Limited, LLC, and Graham Forest Products, handling mainline pipeline construction and operating equipment, respectively. Laport holds a Firefighter 1 degree from Northwood Technical College, which was attained between 1999 and 2001.
