Sara Brittany Somerset

Brittany Somerset, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in cannabis policy and media with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Writer for Global Cannabis Times, Brittany also holds the position of Multimedia Content Producer and Drug Policy Analyst at the United Nations, where significant contributions included establishing the first accredited cannabis news desk and influencing the removal of cannabis from Schedule IV of the 1961 Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs. In addition to roles at Innovation & Tech Today and Cannabis & Tech Today as a Writer and Columnist, Brittany is a contributing writer for Cannabis Now and Sensi Media Group, LLC, and has a solid background in photography with the New York Post and Polaris Images.
