Richard Miller

Richard Miller has extensive work experience in the humanitarian and non-profit sector. Richard started their career in 1984 as an Administrative Officer at the Health Education Council. In 1985, they joined CAFOD, where they held various roles including Programme Funding Assistant and Africa Programmes Officer. From 1991 to 1998, they served as Deputy Director and Regional Representative for Southern Africa at CAFOD. In 2004, Richard joined ActionAid as the Chief Executive of their UK branch and later became the International Humanitarian Director. Richard was also the ActionAid International Director for Human Security from 2005 to 2011. Currently, Richard is the Chief Executive of Sentebale, a position they have held since 2019.

Richard Miller attended the University of Bristol from 1981 to 1984, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Politics and Social Administration.
