Product Strategy Director at Sentient Vision Systems

Mich Mak has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries.

Starting in 2005, Mich Mak worked at O2 (Telefónica UK) as a Senior Marketing Manager and CRM & Digital Strategy Manager, APAC. There, they led a marketing team of 9 and were responsible for marketing strategy, communications planning, and forecasting projects across 11 markets. They also launched integrated Go to Market programs for 5 products in the Asia Pacific region and implemented CRM for O2's customer database.

In 2009, Mich Mak joined globalone Pty Ltd as the Head of Marketing and Project Manager. They managed engineering refurbishment projects for marine, mining, and utilities industries, working with notable clients such as Bechtel and Samsung.

From 2014 to 2017, Mich Mak was the Marketing Lead at Invenio Pty. Ltd., a Dassault Systèmes solutions partner. In this role, they implemented various marketing initiatives targeting transportation, utilities, aerospace, and defense industries. They also transitioned the company from a single web engagement to a multi-engagement platform, resulting in a quadrupling of followers.

In 2016, Mich Mak became a Committee Member at Victorian Defence Alliance - Land Systems, where they connected companies through advocacy and networking to enhance industrial capabilities.

From 2017 to 2020, Mich Mak held two positions at Titomic, serving as the Defence Market Manager and later as the GM of Marketing & Investor Relations. They developed market strategies, entered global supply chains, and prioritized defense projects for implementation.

At Avalon Centre, Mich Mak served as a Member of the Board of Directors from 2017 to 2020. They were actively involved in the Marketing Committee and focused on providing housing and support for the homeless, individuals with mental illness or disabilities, and the elderly.

Starting in 2020, Mich Mak held positions at AML3D (ASX:AL3) and GoProto ANZ Pty Ltd. They were the Head of Marketing at AML3D and the Aerospace & Defence Lead at GoProto ANZ, where they worked on strategic marketing projects and developed marketing strategies for these companies.

Most recently, in 2023, Mich Mak joined Sentient Vision Systems as the Product Strategy Director.

Mich Mak obtained an Associate Degree in Digital Technologies with a focus on I4.0 & Advanced Manufacturing from Swinburne University of Technology, completing the program between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, in 2020, Mich completed a Mini MBA in Marketing through Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson.

In 2018 and 2019, Mich studied at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, earning a GAICD certification. In 1999 and 2000, Mich completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a specialization in Business Administration, Management and Operations from HKUST Business School. In addition, Mich also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in International Finance from the National University of Singapore between 1997 and 2000.

Mich has also earned several additional certifications, including "Additive Manufacturing for Innovation Design and Production" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in May 2023, "Amazon Web Services Big Data Specialty" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2022, "Post Graduate Mini MBA" from Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson in July 2020, and "Gateway to Enovia V6" from Dassault Systèmes in December 2014.
