Xiuqi Wang

Xiuqi Wang's work experience includes being an Animator and Designer at Sequence Studio since November 2022, where they create social media and paid media videos and design email newsletters. They also worked as a Motion Graphics Designer at Atlassian from December 2022 to January 2023. Xiuqi Wang was previously a Motion Graphics Artist at nate from January 2022 to July 2022, where they designed and animated video content for various platforms and formats. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Animator at Co_ed Studios from December 2019 to December 2021, collaborating with other animators and assisting in tasks such as assets creation and animation. Xiuqi Wang also served as a Motion Design Apprentice at The Duke & the Duck in August 2018, where they assisted in video production and art direction for an animated short. They began their career as a Multimedia Designer at Connections Education in February 2017, assembling visual elements for online courses.

Xiuqi Wang completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts, attending from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, Xiuqi Wang obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in animation from the Maryland Institute College of Art, attending from 2012 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Xiuqi Wang has also obtained several certifications. Xiuqi Wang received a certification in "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" from Coursera in October 2021. They also obtained certifications in "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" and "Introduction to User Experience Principles and Processes" from Coursera in August 2021.
