Andrew Sutton

Andrew Sutton has extensive work experience in the field of sustainable design and innovation. Andrew is currently the Co-Founder & Chief Innovation Officer at Sero, where they play a crucial role in driving innovation. In addition, they are also the Co-Founder & Design+Innovation Director at Sero Homes, where they focus on incorporating design and innovation into their projects.

Andrew has also served on various advisory panels for the Welsh Government, including the DeCarbonisation of Existing Homes and the Innovative Housing Programme. Their expertise in sustainable housing has been invaluable in shaping government policies and programs.

Before their current roles, Andrew worked as an Associate Director at BRE, where they contributed to the development of sustainable building practices. Andrew also worked as an architect in various organizations, including ...as architecture, where they honed their skills in sustainable design.

Andrew has been actively involved in professional organizations within their field. Andrew served as the Honorary Treasurer for the Royal Society of Architects in Wales and played a key role as a Committee Member for the Building Regulations Advisory Committee (Wales). Andrew was also a Core Steering Group Member for the Wales Low/Zero Carbon Hub.

Andrew Sutton obtained a BSc and BArch in Architecture from the University of Wales, Cardiff from 1993 to 1998. Following this, they pursued further education and received a PG Dip Arch in Architecture from De Montfort University from 1998 to 1999.
