M.D. Shamim Shahnewaz

Md. Shamim Shahnewaz has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Md. Shamim started their career at Pranon Pvt. Ltd. in 2008 as a Programmer, where they developed desktop and web-based software and collaborated with team members. Md. Shamim also designed and developed websites and CMS modules.

In 2011, Shamim joined Onecall Solutions Limited as a PHP Programmer. Md. Shamim developed and customized CRM applications and integrated them into existing unified communication systems. Md. Shamim also analyzed customer requirements and developed web applications for unified communication and web conferencing systems.

In 2013, Shamim joined WANIT LTD as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, they designed and developed business automation systems and ERP modules. Md. Shamim was responsible for responding to bug reports, reviewing and repairing legacy code, and coordinating and supervising the development of software systems.

Shamim continued their work as a Senior Software Engineer at Habib Intelligent Software Limited in 2014. Md. Shamim developed business solutions, coordinated programming tasks with the Project Manager, and collaborated with other programmers to implement features.

From 2014 to the present, Shamim has been working at SEBPO. Md. Shamim started as a Senior Software Engineer and later took on roles as an Assistant Project Manager and currently as a Project Manager. Md. Shamim'sresponsibilities include designing and developing software solutions, analyzing business domain scope and gathering user requirements, and determining operational feasibility.

Throughout their career, Shamim has demonstrated strong technical skills and collaboration abilities with team members and project managers.

Md. Shamim Shahnewaz attended The People's University of Bangladesh from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Md. Shamim then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jahangirnagar University, from 2015 to 2016. In 2020, they briefly attended the University of Dhaka for an ACMP program in the field of IBA.
