Elisabeth Oosthuizen has a diverse range of work experience in the arts and music industry. Elisabeth is currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager and Settlement Music Online Director at Settlement Music School, where they focus on building inclusive arts partnerships in the community. Elisabeth is also a member of the voice faculty at the MLC Branch.
Prior to their current role, Elisabeth worked at Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia, starting as a Marketing and Development Associate in 2020, then moving on to become the Marketing Manager and finally the Social Media Manager.
Elisabeth also served as a Graduate Assistant for the Arts Administration and Museum Leadership Program at Drexel University's Westphal College of Media Arts & Design in 2021-2022.
In 2012-2021, Elisabeth founded and directed the Cunningham Music School. Elisabeth was responsible for all aspects of the school, including marketing, community outreach, programming, and managing teacher and student retention. Elisabeth also worked as a private voice teacher.
Additionally, Elisabeth worked as a Voice Teacher at NEW JERSEY SCHOOL OF MUSIC in 2015-2016, where they taught students of all ages and skill levels, focusing on vocal health, theory, and acting skills.
During their undergraduate career at the Boyer College, Elisabeth interned and worked at the Philadelphia International Music Festival. Their roles included outreach, drama program coordination, vocal coaching, floor supervision, and teaching private voice lessons.

Elisabeth Oosthuizen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Music History and Classical Voice at Temple University from 2011 to 2016. Elisabeth then pursued a Master of Science in Arts Administration and Museum Leadership at Drexel University's Westphal College of Media Arts & Design from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Group 2: Social Behavioral COI and Social Behavioral from the CITI Program in April 2022.
