Maciej Marek

Maciej Marek has a relevant work experience in the field of data engineering and data science. Maciej started their career at Philip Morris International in 2016 as a Solution Architect Intern. After that, they served as an Associate Data Scientist from December 2016 to May 2018. Maciej then progressed to the role of Enterprise Data Scientist from June 2018 to January 2021. In 2021, they joined WIDMO Spectral Technologies as a Senior Data Scientist from January to March, and later transitioned to the role of Cloud Data Engineer from March 2021 onwards.

Maciej Marek obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie, which they attended from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Automation and Robotics at AGH University of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Maciej has obtained several certifications, including AWS Solution Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021, Apache Spark for Machine Learning and Data Science from Databricks in November 2018, and Big Data and Apache Hadoop from Teradata in April 2018. Maciej also holds certifications such as Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) from Scrum.org and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum.org, obtained in 2018 and 2017 respectively. Recently, Maciej achieved SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake in April 2023. Furthermore, they have completed Hands On Essentials in Data Sharing, Data Applications, and Data Warehouse from Snowflake in February 2023, January 2023, and January 2023 respectively.
