Rob McCarthy

President, Marks at SGS & Co

Rob McCarthy has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rob started their career as a Senior Consultant at Weber Shandwick in 1994. Rob then moved to Labatt Breweries of Canada, where they held various roles including District Sales Manager, Public Affairs Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Director, and Director of Innovation & Marketing Services. In 2009, Rob joined Anheuser-Busch InBev as a VP, first for the Budweiser brand and later for the Bud Light Brands. In 2014, they became the Managing Partner at Liquid Assets Consulting & Capital. From 2015 to 2019, Rob held two roles at SGS & Co, first as the CMO & President of Digital, and then as the President of Marks, a global brand experience agency network. Rob'sresponsibilities at Marks included leading a team of 600 professionals across 21 studios in 12 countries, providing brand experience solutions to a wide range of clients.

Rob McCarthy obtained a BCOMM degree in Marketing from Saint Mary's University from 1986 to 1990. Rob then pursued a BPR degree in Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University, completing it from 1991 to 1993. In 2006, they participated in the ABI Executive MBA joint program with INSEAD, France, at The Wharton School. Rob also attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2009 for an Advanced Consumer Marketing program. In 2011, they completed a program in Consumer Connections at Stanford University. Additionally, they hold a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from FALCONI Consultores de Resultado.
