Heather Gaona

Heather Gaona is a seasoned medical laboratory technician currently employed at Shady Grove Fertility since April 2010. With diverse experience in healthcare and research, Heather has held roles such as a Student Trainee at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and a Volunteer Intern at Bread for the City. Previous positions include Bioanalytical Laboratory Associate at Clinical Research Management, Manager of the Department of Drug Discovery at the US Army's Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, and Veterinary Assistant at Northern Oaks Bird and Animal Hospital. Additionally, Heather has contributed as a Seasonal Research Technician at LGL Limited and Terramar, and worked in various administrative capacities during studies at the University of Montana. Heather holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana and is a candidate for a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy from The George Washington University.
