Suhaib Juaatta

Suhaib Juaatta is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a comprehensive background in high-voltage substation installation and power plant operations. Currently employed at Shamara Holding Group since November 2022, Suhaib is involved in the installation of a 400/132kv AIS Substation and the commissioning of a Siemens SGT5-2000E turbine at the Ar Rumaila investment power plant in Basra. Previous roles include serving as a Resident Electrical Engineer for UNDP, where supervision of projects in western Al-Anbar was conducted, and a Power Plant Operator at the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity, focusing on Siemens SGT800 gas turbine operations. Suhaib also held various engineering positions, including pre-commissioning team leader and electrical engineer at Power Engineering World Group, as well as roles in electrical engineering and maintenance with multiple companies, notably in the Badra oil field. Suhaib holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Middle Technical University, completed in 2015.
