Melissa Works

Melissa Works is currently the Director and Head of Pipeline Research at ShapeTX. Prior to this, they were with Bristol Myers Squibb as an Associate Director, heading the Product Sciences Team for Autologous and Allogeneic CAR T Cell and eTCR Cell Therapies. Melissa has also worked with Juno Therapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Scientist and Research Lead for JCARH125 CAR T Cell Therapy Global Project Team, and as a Scientist. Melissa started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at SRI International, before becoming a PhD student at Stanford University.

Melissa Works has a PhD in Biology/Biological Sciences from Stanford University, an MS in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, and a BS in Psychology from Tufts University. Melissa also attended Mountain View High School.
