Andrea Blackie

Andrea Blackie has over 12 years of professional experience. In 2009, they began their career as an English Language Assistant at Academie Nancy-Metz. In 2010, they joined Peoples Trust as an AML Compliance Administrator and Bilingual Secured Credit Card Administrator. In 2012, they co-founded and served as Publisher for Param Media Inc., a company that publishes inspiring pioneers. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Kashoo - Simple Cloud Accounting as a Blog Content Creator and at Meridian OneCap Credit Corp. as a Bilingual Leasing Portfolio Representative (Contract). From 2017 to 2019, they worked at ShareIn as Head Of Risk, Compliance Officer, and Account Manager. Since 2019, they have been Co-Organiser for Product Tank Edinburgh, a meetup for people involved in the design, development, management & marketing of digital products. In 2022, they were appointed Director at UK Crowdfunding Association.

Andrea Blackie attended Halifax West High School from 2003 to 2006, and then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in French Language and Literature from Dalhousie University from 2006 to 2009.
