Clare Saltiel

Clare Saltiel is an experienced professional in community development and social advocacy. Currently serving as an IRIS Advocate Educator at Refuge since April 2024, Clare has held various roles including Neighbourhood Housing Officer and Tenancy Enforcement Officer at Shepherds Bush Housing Group since September 2018. Clare co-founded Is The Third Sector Sexist? and led social media efforts from February 2018 to February 2019. Other roles include Graduate Trainee at Charityworks and Communications/Social Media Officer at Estuary Housing Association between September 2017 and August 2018. Clare began a career in education as an ESL Teacher at The Language Co. in 2016, and has also served in administrative roles such as PA to the CEO at LIFE CHANGES (TRUSTEE) LIMITED and Resident Centre Administrator for the Commonwealth Games Federation. Clare holds a Master's degree in Applied Anthropology and Community Development from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Glasgow.
