Paloma Zamarripa

Paloma Zamarripa is an experienced Design Engineer I at Sherwood Design Engineers since December 2020, following a role as an Office Engineer at Skanska during the Westside Subway Extension project. Previously, Paloma worked as a Field Engineer at HENSEL PHELPS from February 2017 to March 2020, where responsibilities included inspecting project operations, creating lift drawings, estimating material quantities, and conducting quality control inspections. Earlier experience includes an internship as an Office Engineer at HENSEL PHELPS and serving as an undergraduate research assistant at the Center for Transportation Infrastructure Systems. Paloma holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, where involvement in various roles promoted STEM fields to students.
