Deborah Chong has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Deborah'smost recent position was as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at the Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation. Prior to that, they worked at Dropbox as an Administrative Business Partner, providing high-touch administrative support to the VP of Business Development. Deborah also handled complex calendar management, collaborated with internal and external admins, and managed small and large-scale leadership offsites.
Before joining Dropbox, Deborah worked at Fivestars as an Executive Assistant, at Outbrain as a Community Manager, and at Trumaker in multiple roles including Direct Sales Fashion Consultant, Office Manager & Market Development Lead, and Assistant Manager. Deborah also had freelance positions at The North Face, A Squared Group, lucy activewear, Needle Happy, and INSPIRARE.COM, where they gained experience in various areas such as fashion sketching, assistant designing, product development, and womenswear fashion design.

Deborah Chong obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design: Women's Wear from the Academy of Art University. Deborah attended this university from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art/Art Studies, General at UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 2006 to 2009.
In addition to their formal education, Deborah Chong also obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Deborah acquired this certification in May 2021.
