James Houk

James Houk is an experienced professional specializing in go-to-market (GTM) and business development strategies, currently serving as Lead of GTM & Business Development at Shiftsmart since May 2023. Previously, James held the position of Sr. Manager of Growth & Strategy at Angi and worked as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where contributions focused on B2B GTM strategy, pricing, and ecosystem strategy within the technology sector. Project highlights include developing analytic pricing tools for an international UCaaS provider, redesigning GTM strategies for SaaS providers, and implementing IT transformation initiatives for Fortune 100 companies. James began their career with internships at co:collective and Red Bull after earning a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University in 2019.
