Julia Frykman

Julia Frykman is an experienced research assistant currently investigating the Michigan Youth Correctional Facility for the Carceral State Project at the University of Michigan. In addition to research, Julia has a diverse background in sales as a sales associate at Shinola and has served as a student research assistant at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. Julia founded Julia's Social Kitchen and has worked as a baker and counter staff at Give Thanks Bakery. Previous experience includes serving as a teen assistant coach at Birmingham Ice Arena. Julia is pursuing a degree in Psychology with a focus on Pre-Law Studies at the University of Michigan, having previously attended Cranbrook Schools.
