Sean Maybee

Sean Maybee has a strong background in finance and operations, with extensive experience in executive roles. Sean most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Shinydocs since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at exactEarth Ltd from February 2016 to April 2022, where they played a key role in formulating strategy, driving EBITDA growth, and leading various financial and operational functions. Before joining exactEarth Ltd, Sean served as the VP Finance & Business Operations at the same company from April 2012 to February 2016. Prior to that, they held significant roles at COM DEV International, including VP Finance & Corporate Controller from February 2008 to April 2012, Vice President of Finance from February 2006 to February 2008, and Director of Finance from April 2001 to February 2006. Sean also gained experience as an SAP Consultant at PWC and as a Consultant at Omnilogic from 1997 to 2001. Sean has a proven track record of successfully managing financial operations, leading teams, implementing financial systems, and driving growth.

Sean Maybee attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Finance, and Accounting. Sean later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same university, completing it from 2001 to 2005, with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Additionally, Sean holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Delaware and as a CPA and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
