Jason Banks

Jason Banks, PhD has an extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations. Jason currently holds the position of Global VP Clinical Operations at Shionogi Inc., starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they were the Global Head of Clinical Project Management at LEO Pharma from February 2019 to December 2022. Before joining LEO Pharma, they served as VP and Global Head of Clinical Operations at Ancillare, LP from December 2017 to February 2019. From July 2013 to December 2017, they worked as Portfolio Asset Oversight at PAREXEL.

Jason's earlier roles include Director of Clinical Operations at IKARIA, Inc. from February 2012 to July 2013, Head of Oncology - PM/Clinical Operations Division at Medpace from September 2010 to January 2012, and Director of Clinical Operations at ICON Clinical Research from October 1999 to August 2010. Jason started their career as a CRA at Phoenix International CRO in 1998.

Jason Banks, PhD obtained their Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in Chemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Dundee. Jason attended the university from 1989 to 1993. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry with a focus on Oncology at the University of Portsmouth. Jason successfully completed their doctoral program from 1994 to 1999.
