Vera G. has extensive work experience in strategic partnerships and business development. Vera is currently the VP of Partnerships and Strategic Accounts at Shippo, where they have held various roles since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Virtual Conference as a Business Development and Partnerships professional. Vera also has experience in the nonprofit sector, having worked at Women's Funding Network as part of their Strategic Partnerships and Development team. Before that, they had a long tenure at BeMyApp, where they served as the Strategic Partnerships and Operations Director, Americas, and later as the Business Development and Operations Manager. In these roles, they successfully optimized client onboarding processes, grew key portfolio accounts, initiated office expansions, developed relationships, advised enterprises on scalable strategies, and managed complex global accounts. Early in their career, they worked at PANNA North America as a Campaign Assistant and Researcher, and at SFSU International Relations Journal as the Managing Editor. Vera G. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University, obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended the University of National and World Economy from 2002 to 2005, where they studied International Studies. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications in Data Analytics, SQL, Advanced Excel, and Tableau from General Assembly, obtained in 2019, as well as a certification in Storytelling for Influence from IDEO U, obtained in 2018.
