Head of Service Management at ShipServ

Don Refuerzo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Don started their career in 2001 at Admired Technologies, Inc. where they served as an IT Manager and Consultant, responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure and working on IT solutions for various projects. Don then moved on to Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific (Hong Kong), Ltd. in 2007 as an IT Consultant II. In 2008, they joined Deltek Systems (Philippines), Ltd. as a Manager, where they were responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise business applications and managing a local team with a 0% attrition rate.

Don's next role was at Accenture in 2015, where they worked as a Manager, Technology Architecture. Don played a key role in establishing Accenture as a technology thought leader, driving innovation and conducting architecture assessments.

In 2021, Don held two concurrent roles. Don served as the Business Unit Head of Data Platform (Oracle) at NTT DATA Philippines, Inc., and as the Project Management Manager - Oracle SME at Concepcion Business Services, Inc. In these roles, they demonstrated their expertise in Oracle and project management.

Don's most recent role is at ShipServ, where they started in 2023 as the Head of Service Management. Currently, they hold the position of CEO at Database Solutions Inc. since the same year. Throughout their career, Don has showcased their skills in service delivery management, IT consulting, solution architecture, and team management.

Don Refuerzo completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Computer Applications at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde from 2001 to 2005. In terms of certifications, they obtained the ITIL® 4 Foundation Certified from AXELOS in August 2019. Don also holds the ITIL v3 Foundations Certified from APMG International, obtained in 2011. Furthermore, they are a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Sharepoint 2010, obtained in 2011, and a Microsoft Certified IT Professional in Database Administration, obtained in 2008. Don also holds a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification in SQL Server 2005, obtained in 2008. Additionally, Don Refuerzo recently obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification and a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Quality Gurus Inc. in September 2022 and June 2022, respectively.
