Hamish James

Hamish James has extensive experience in both ranger and emergency management services, currently serving as a Ranger for the Shire of Ashburton since September 2020. Prior to this role, Hamish worked at the Shire of Dardanup, overseeing emergency management and ranger services from November 2014 to September 2020. A strong background in logistics and continuous improvement is evident from previous positions at BHP from October 2006 to May 2015, where multiple roles such as Logistics Specialist and Continuous Improvement Facilitator were held. Hamish also has significant experience in the wine industry, having served in various capacities at several wineries from 1999 to 2006. Educational achievements include degrees in Law Enforcement from Edith Cowan University and Green Belt Accreditation in Six Sigma from Worsley Alumina, alongside other relevant certifications.
