Lauren Klapper has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lauren began as an Intern at The Daily Herald in 2014 before moving on to become a Managing Editor at The Dangling Modifier. Lauren then worked as an Office Assistant at Shoe Fly Shoe, Inc. before transitioning to the role of Assistant Director of Admissions at Ross School. Lauren also worked as a Student Admissions Aide at Grier School and as a Writing Center Tutor at The Pennsylvania State University Learning Center. Lauren then joined Shoe Fly Shoe, Inc. again, this time as a Corporate Digital Content Editor, where they developed and managed a Course Management System and conducted market research. After that, they joined Harrisburg University of Science and Technology as a Program Coordinator and later as a Professional Development Strategist. Lauren most recently served as the Marketing Director at Shoe Fly Shoe, Inc. and also managed the COVID-19 Task Force.
Lauren Klapper completed their Master's degree in Public Policy at Temple University Graduate School in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism from Penn State University in 2015. Lauren attended Grier School from 2010 to 2012 for high school education. Additionally, Lauren achieved a Language Acquisition Level B1 in French at CLA - Centre de Linguistique Appliquée de Besançon in 2014 and completed an Intercultural Communications course at the University of Vienna in the same year.
