Kara Witherill

Kara Witherill, CAPM, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kara started their career at Shorelight in 2019, where they held roles such as Program Development Manager, Operations Manager, and Assistant Manager, Campus Admissions Operations. Prior to that, Kara worked at InsightSquared as a Product Support Consultant, Product Support Specialist, and Product Support Associate. Kara also gained experience at Hult International Business School as a Visa Coordinator and at Fulbright Germany as an English Teaching Assistant. Kara's early career included positions at Colby College as a Water Quality Analyst and Research Assistant, Off-Campus Study Assistant, and Phonathon Caller. Kara also worked as an Office Manager at Camp Androscoggin and as a Chemistry Tutor at Colby College. Additionally, Kara served as an English Language Assistant at Louisenlund Boarding School and co-founded a painting business as a Painter.

Kara Witherill, CAPM, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies, German, and Chemistry at Colby College from 2011 to 2015. In 2013, they also studied at the American University Center of Provence, focusing on French and International Relations.

In terms of additional certifications, Kara obtained their Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in November 2018. Kara also completed a Global Citizenship Course at Shorelight in February 2021. Additionally, Kara was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship from the U.S. Department of State, which they held from 2015 to 2016.
