Michell S. Mpike

UX Researcher at Shoreline Wind

Michell S. Mpike has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Transcriber and Translator at AnotherLove Productions. In 2014, Mpike worked as a Research Facilitator at the South African Medical Research Council. The following year, Mpike served as the Humanities Faculty Mentorship Programme Co-coordinator at the University of Cape Town. In 2015, Mpike joined the Southern African Social Policy Research Institute as a Research Officer and later became a Research Associate.

Mpike founded Inklusive Books in 2018 and served as a Founder until 2020. During the same year, Mpike also worked as a Summit Intern at the Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA). In 2017, Mpike gained experience as a Research Intern at UNESCO.

From 2019 to 2022, Mpike worked as a Risk Analyst at Crisp. Starting in 2022, Mpike joined Shoreline Wind as a UX Researcher.

Additionally, Mpike has worked as a Workshop Facilitator and Discussion Moderator since 2015, with an ongoing position.

Michell S. Mpike holds a Master's degree in Education Policies for Global Development from the University of Oslo (UiO). Additionally, they have a User Experience Research and Design Specialization from the University of Michigan. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Public Policy and Social Development from the University of Cape Town.

In terms of certifications, Michell has obtained several additional certifications. They have completed courses such as Communication Foundations from LinkedIn, Offshore Wind Basics from DOB-Academy, Understanding the GDPR from the University of Groningen, Product Analytics Micro-Certification from Mixpanel, and Agile Project Management from Google Career Certificates.
