Kazi Zaman

Kazi Zaman has an extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Kazi'smost recent role was as the Chief Development Officer at Shoreline.io, where they focused on real-time debugging and automated repair for system operations. Prior to that, they worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as the VP of Engineering, Data & AI, overseeing the infrastructure and machine learning models for analysis of gamer and gameplay data. Kazi also had a senior director role at EMC, where they led the analytics engineering effort and contributed to the development of the MADlib analytics library. Kazi managed teams at Yahoo! working on Apache Hadoop, adding security features to the system. Earlier in their career, they worked at Oracle as a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, focusing on query processing, and at nQuire Software, addressing issues in the nQuire Server. Kazi also had internship experiences at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center and Bell Laboratories.

Kazi Zaman completed their education in a chronological order. Kazi attended La Martiniere from 1979 to 1991, where they obtained their ICSE/ISC degree with a focus on science. Following this, from 1991 to 1995, they pursued a B. Tech degree in Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Finally, they continued their studies at Columbia University from 1995 to 2000, earning a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in databases.
