Ogechi Okenwa has a strong background in marketing and brand management. Earlier in their career, Ogechi worked at Samsung Electronics West Africa as an Account Manager, where they delivered successful marketing campaigns for various divisions. Ogechi also served as a Marketing Content Strategist, responsible for conceptualizing and deploying creative content for product and consumer marketing campaigns.

Ogechi began their career at MullenLowe Lintas Group as an Advertising Copywriter, creating multi-channel content for clients in FMCG, Tech, and Telco industries. Ogechi also worked as a Marketing Copywriter at Media Specialties Ltd.

Ogechi Okenwa began their education in 2009 at the University of Benin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies in 2012. In 2017, they attended Orange Academy Lagos for a Digital Marketing Course. Okenwa then pursued further education at the University of Lagos, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from 2018 to 2022.

In 2019, they briefly attended BSchool Africa to study Marketing Strategy. In the future, Okenwa plans to continue their education at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, focusing on Managing Brands and Marketing and Digital Strategy.
