Ghenesis Mendez

Ghenesis Mendez is an Associate, Talent at Sidewalk Labs. Prior to joining Sidewalk, she was an Active Candidate Specialist and helped identify excellent talent for her Google Cloud recruitment team.

An educator and student advocate at heart, she also spent two years as a Kindergarten Teacher in Newark, NJ where she kickstarted the computer science curriculum at her school. She is passionate about using technology to make cities and the world a more equitable place.

Ghenesis graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor’s in International Relations and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. Along with her family, Ghenesis lives in the Bronx and enjoys long walks and bike rides in Van Cortlandt Park.
