Semih Özkoç

Semih Özkoç has a diverse work experience in product design, user experience design, and creative roles. Semih is currently working as a Sr. Product Designer at Sideways 6 since May 2022. In 2023, they will be founding their own company called Studio Paper. Previously, Semih served as a Product Design Lead at Lean Scale from April 2021 to December 2021.

Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Insider, including Lead Design Strategist, Shareholder, and Sr. Product Designer from October 2015 to April 2021. Insider is a digital experience delivery platform company.

Semih also worked as a User Experience Design Instructor at Yeditepe Üniversitesi in 2019. Before that, they worked as a UI/UX Designer at Biletix / Ticketmaster Türkiye from August 2014 to September 2015.

In their early career, Semih worked part-time as a Jr. Creative at Flex Gerilla from October 2012 to July 2014, and also at Flex Social from October 2011 to July 2014. Semih started their professional journey as a New Media Intern at Tick Tock Boom Digital PR & Marketing Agency from December 2011 to February 2012.

Semih Özkoç completed their Master's degree in Visual Communication Design from Yeditepe University between the years 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Advertising Design and Communication at Yeditepe University from 2009 to 2014. Semih Özkoç completed their high school education at H. Bayraktar Lisesi from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Semih Özkoç obtained the certification in "Planning a Career in User Experience" from Lynda.com in August 2016. Semih also received the "Ux Alive 2016" certification in May 2016, although the institution providing this certification is not specified.
