Matthew Griffin

Matthew Griffin has a diverse background in product and visual design. Matthew started their career in 2015 as a Graphic Designer at the York University Student Centre, where they worked on marketing and web design projects. In 2016, they completed internships at Brand & Mortar and RL Solutions, gaining experience in graphic and web design and creating visual and product design solutions. Matthew then worked as a Product Designer at Motoinsight, designing automotive e-commerce products. Matthew joined HeyOrca as a Visual Designer in 2018, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to design effective ad campaigns and content collaterals. In the same year, they also worked as a Product Designer at Intellijoint Surgical Inc., designing digital experiences for orthopaedic surgeons. Matthew later became a Creative Director at Grand River Hospital Foundation, utilizing design for healthcare fundraising. Matthew then joined Proposify as a Senior Product Designer in 2022 before transitioning to their current role as a Sr. Product Designer at Swift Medical in 2023. Throughout their career, Matthew has acquired skills in user testing, design research, and working in cross-functional teams.

Matthew Griffin attended York University from 2013 to 2017. Matthew completed a Bachelor of Design degree in the field of Design during this time.
