Lucinyo Fabio Marques has a diverse work experience in the maritime and engineering sectors. Lucinyo Fabio began their career as an Engenheiro Eletricista (Operador de Sistema) at Gebra from January 2003 to January 2005. Lucinyo Fabio then worked as a Segundo Oficial Maquinas at Petrobras Transpetro from July 2006 to March 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Engineer at Siem Offshore since March 2014. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the operations of the Siem Giant PSV 4700/DP2 vessel, which includes conducting inspections and interventions on underwater lines, as well as functioning as a PSV and Oil Recovery vessel.
Lucinyo Fabio Marques started their education in 1995 at CESMAC - Centro de Estudos Superiores de Maceió, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power. Lucinyo Fabio completed their degree in 2000. In 2005, they attended CIAGA - Centro de Instrução Almirante Graça Aranha, where they obtained their degree as a Second Engineer Officer. In 2013, they returned to CIAGA to further their education and became a First Engineer Officer with the STCW III/2 certification.
Aside from their formal education, Lucinyo Fabio Marques has also obtained several additional certifications. These include certifications in working in confined spaces, dynamic positioning technical skills, advanced combat firefighting, survival and rescue on the sea, operational safety for cargo carriers, personal safety and social responsibility, personal survival, K-Pos maintenance, safety in electrical installations and services, work in confined spaces, work at heights, and supervisor for confined space entry. The institutions where they obtained these certifications included Academia Transpetro, Kongsberg Maritime, and CIAGA.
