Michael Massei

Michael Massei, MBA, MT(ASCP) has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the healthcare and diagnostics industry. Starting in 1996, they worked at Abbott Diagnostics in various roles such as Global Strategic Marketing & Business Development Manager and Regional Sales Manager. Michael then joined Sysmex America, Inc. in 2007 as Sr. Director, Laboratory Solutions. After that, they became Vice President of Commercial Operations in the Americas at Sebia Inc. in 2013. Massei returned to Abbott in 2014, where they held several senior positions in global marketing and business development. In 2022, they served as Vice President & General Manager, Global Diagnostic Solutions at SteriPack Contract Manufacturing. Michael also served as President of the Board of Directors at Healthy PS Test Nonprofit. In 2023, Massei joined the College of American Pathologists as Vice President of International Market Development. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Marketing for Core Lab Solutions at Siemens Healthineers.

Michael Massei, MBA, MT(ASCP) attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing, Strategy, and Finance. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Medical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
