Head Of BD & Strategy, Endovascular Robotics at Siemens Healthineers

Rob Pierce has extensive work experience in various roles and companies in the healthcare industry. Rob is currently serving as the Head of BD & Strategy, Endovascular Robotics at Siemens Healthineers. Prior to this, they held roles at Foundation Venture Capital Group, LLC, where they served as a Director and board member for the non-profit NJHF's early stage investment arm. Rob also worked at New Jersey Health Foundation as a Trustee.

At Medtronic, Rob Pierce held two positions, including Strategy Director, Surgical Robotics, and Director, Strategic Marketing, Surgical Robotics. Their responsibilities included driving strategic efforts and leading cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate opportunities in the surgical robotics field.

While working at BD Diagnostics, Rob Pierce served as the VP of R&D and Innovation. Rob led a large internationally-based R&D and Strategic Innovation organization and successfully secured funding to pursue significant business opportunities in a new adjacent space.

At BD Ophthalmic Systems, Rob Pierce held multiple roles, including Director of Glaucoma and R&D, and Manager of R&D and Marketing. Rob played a crucial role in developing and launching innovative products for Cataract and Refractive surgery, and also led the entry into a new market segment, resulting in BDOS becoming the fastest-growing business within BD.

Rob Pierce earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1985. Rob then went on to obtain their MBA in Marketing from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business in 1995.
