Dominik Sacha

Dominik Sacha began their work experience in 2007 as a Werkstudent at yourIT GmbH, where they worked until 2010. Dominik then moved on to SEITENBAU GmbH, also as a Werkstudent, and stayed there until 2012. In 2012, they joined SAP as a Masterstudent for a brief period of six months.

In 2013, Sacha started working at Universität Konstanz as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter and remained in this role until 2018. During this time, they gained extensive experience in research and academia.

In 2018, Sacha transitioned to Siemens Logistics, initially as a Data Scientist. Dominik held this position until 2021, when they were promoted to Teamlead Analytics. In 2023, Sacha assumed the role of Head of Digital Product Factory, leading a team of approximately 30 professionals in software development and research for aviation, cargo, and ports.

In 2019, Sacha had a brief stint at Next47 as part of their Accelerator Programm.

Dominik Sacha's education history starts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medien- und Kommunikationsinformatik from Reutlingen University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Dominik then pursued a Master of Science degree in Informatik from HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung, completing it from 2010 to 2013. Finally, they achieved a Doctor of Natural Sciences degree in Visual Analytics from the University of Konstanz, which they earned from 2013 to 2018.
