Nicolau Silva

Nicolau Silva has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Nicolau started their career at Siemens as a System Verification and Integration Engineer from November 2005 to December 2007. Nicolau then moved to Nokia, where they took on various roles such as Emergency Manager and Customer Project Support Engineer from January 2008 to March 2012, Solution Engineer/Architect from March 2012 to October 2016, Security Architect from October 2016 to March 2019, and Cybersecurity Professional from April 2019 to December 2019. Nicolau later joined Siemens Logistics as a Cybersecurity Expert from January 2020 to October 2021 and currently holds the position of IT Security Manager for Siemens Logistics Worldwide since October 2021. Nicolau Silva has a strong background in IT security and has demonstrated leadership skills as a Team Lead in the Portugal IT Hub at Siemens Logistics.

Nicolau Silva attended the Escola Superior de Tecnologia do Instituto Politecnico de Castelo Branco from 2000 to 2006. Nicolau obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from 2000 to 2003, and then pursued a Degree in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering from 2003 to 2006.

In terms of additional certifications, Nicolau Silva obtained several certifications from various institutions. Nicolau received the AZ-900 Azure fundamentals certification from Microsoft in December 2019. In August 2018, they acquired the (ISC)2 CISSP certification from (ISC)². In December 2017, Nicolau obtained the C|EH - Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council. Furthermore, they earned the OSWP - Offensive Security Wireless Professional certification from Offensive Security in December 2016. Lastly, Nicolau Silva acquired the Sun Certified System Administrator for Solaris 10 OS Engineer certification from Sun Microsystems in 2008.
