Haya Aldoori

Haya is a facilitator of hands-on learning, an avid bird watcher and a photographer. Growing up in an urban environment, she has always sought out different ways to connect and immerse herself in nature, whether in a city park or a remote forest. ⠀⠀

These moments she spent outdoors—full of wonder, gratitude and peace of mind—helped her develop a deep passion for inspiring and encouraging others, especially youth and children, to make meaningful connections to the land and all of its beings. ⠀

This led her to work as a Bilingual Nature Interpreter and in public environmental outreach, where she used her knowledge, high energy, and enthusiasm to invite people to explore their relationships with nature, and learn about different environmental issues and all their intersections.

Haya is excited to be a member of the Education Team, contributing her skills and experience to supporting Sierra Club BC’s mission and transformational work.
