Oliver Whitney

Oliver Whitney has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Oliver started their career in 2005 as the Director of On-Water Programs at The National Maritime Heritage Foundation. From there, they worked at the AFL-CIO as an Assistant Administrator, Material/Data Mobilization Coordinator, and Administrator of the Labor Action Network. In 2013, Oliver joined the Democratic National Committee, where they served as a Data Services Manager and Analytics Platform Administrator. Most recently, they worked at Sierra Club, first as a Data Director and then as the Director of Data Architecture. In these roles, Oliver managed teams, developed training strategies, and oversaw the design and maintenance of data ecosystems, implementing DevOps processes and user requirements-gathering.

Oliver Whitney attended Carleton College from 2001 to 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies.
